WEHAV

Theory of Change
WEHAV’s work bridges research and action. We translate lived experience and data into tools, frameworks, and designs that help communities prepare for climate disruption rather than simply react to it.
Our approach recognizes that climate migration is shaped as much by policy, infrastructure, and information as it is by environmental conditions. By focusing on early intervention, system design, and community-informed research, we work to expand the choices available to people facing climate risk.

Design, Data & Dignity in Action
Climate Mobility & Evacuation Systems
We develop and test decision-support tools that help people navigate evacuation, relocation, and emergency response. These systems explore how technology and planning can reduce harm before and during emergencies.
Research, Mapping & Knowledge Exchange
We produce research, visualizations, and public-facing materials that make climate migration legible and actionable. Our work connects insights from the Global South and Global North, supporting a shared understanding of climate risk, resilience, and responsibility.
Community Preparedness & Education
Through workshops, publications, and pilot initiatives, we support communities in building preparedness strategies rooted in local context. Education is not an afterthought — it is a tool for agency.
